Decide what this page can and cannot do before you rely on it
This page is a set of static files. There is no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch on a control, check a control or enforce one. Controls of that kind belong to an account you open at an operator's own site, after you follow a link away from this one.
- Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are account settings at the destination — this page cannot set, view or apply any of them.
- Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any age check happens at the destination once you leave.
- No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on past behaviour.
Use these practical habits before money is involved
Each of these is a plain precaution, not a slogan, and each has a reason behind it.
- Decide the amount before starting. A number fixed in advance, while you are calm, is harder to talk yourself past than a limit you try to set mid-session.
- Treat that amount as already spent. Thinking of it as gone rather than "at risk" removes the temptation to try to win it back.
- Never chase a loss. Increasing a bet to recover an earlier one usually turns one loss into two, because it replaces a plan with a reaction.
- Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Money you owe carries a deadline and a consequence that has nothing to do with the game, and mixing the two makes both harder to manage.
- Take breaks. Stepping away resets judgement that a long session gradually wears down.
- Involve someone else early. A second person notices the shift from entertainment to a problem sooner than the person inside it usually does.
Find the independent help links on every page
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: GambleAware NSW, Gambling Help Online and Responsible Gambling. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial — unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.
Know that the restriction and the money both sit elsewhere
The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: every operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point on, the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply — not anything published here.
